You will be picked up from the airport by a Safari Peak representative and conveyed to your accommodation in Traditional Maasai Honeymoon Suite Africa Amini Life where you will overnight, relax, and prepare in anticipation of the adventures to come.
On this day, Maasai Guide will discus with you about different activities such as Nature walking , Donkey ridding ,Sunset maasai dancing , Throwing arrows etc you will choose one of activities that you preferred mostly after description from guide also activities are performed due to your staying time and arrival time .
On the second day after performing your activities you will stay in the lodge till later noon after lunch then drive back to Karatu for the next adventures to come to visit another Parks with unlimited millage Game drive .
After breakfast to your lodge meet our safari manager & your driver guide for a short safari briefing before departing for Tarangire National Park . The driving is along the Masai steppe & across many villages all the way to Tarangire gate. Tarangire is the fifth largest National park in Tanzania located at the base of the Great East African Rift Valley.
Tarangire River which runs from north to south of the park and a swamp on the south corner is the permanent source of water in the park saved as a refugee camp for a large number of animals during the dry season. Another major highlight of this park is the large population of elephants & the three rare species of Great Kudu, Fringed Eared Oryx & the Ash Stalling. You may also expect to spot herds of buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, warthog, hippos, giraffes,s and a big number of baboons & monkeys.
Predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals & hyenas also inhabit the park. For bird watchers, this is paradise as over 400 bird species were recorded here which includes ostrich, herons, secretary bird & other migratory birds. Late afternoon drive to the lodge via the Great East African Rift Valley for sunset watch then to Marera Valley Lodge for dinner & overnight.
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive through Karatu’s lush farmlands and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping at the crater viewpoint for stunning photos. Continue to Serengeti National Park, with its iconic rolling plains, and visit a Maasai village en route. Experience Maasai culture through storytelling, Q&A, and traditional songs and dances.
Proceed with an en-route game drive to Naabi Hills Gate for check-in before heading to the wildlife-rich Seronera area, home to the Seronera River, which sustains abundant wildlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a kopje (rocky outcrop) and an afternoon game drive in search of the Wildebeest Migration. Arrive at your lodge by sunset for dinner and relaxation.
Your 7 days Tanzania lodge safari continue and today we are taking you for full day game drive in the Serengeti. You will start as early as 06:30 with packed breakfast box and lunch box. Early morning game drive allows you to spot the cat family on the road as they try to avoid the morning mist, you may also see nocturnal animals coming back from their long night of hunting or a group of lioness organizing an ambush or eating along the road.
Break for breakfast in the bush then you will be heading to where the Wildebeest migration is packed. Spend much time watching the migration of herds, the big cats and others (packed lunch will be served in the bush or in one of the picnic site in the area. You may expect to see a lot of animal actions like hunting, killing, fighting & so on. Drive back to the Camp during or before the sunset.
On this day after breakfast your guide will take you to Mto wa Mbu town to have some activities , You will experience Cultural tour of Mto wa Mbu Village tour – try banana beer , visit a traditional home , learning Makonde caving and finally have you will enjoy a home cooked meal the traditional way , Later afternoon drive back to Arusha Airport (ARK) for flying to Zanzibar.
