Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), your Safari Peak Adventure representative will welcome you and arrange your transfer to Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax at your hotel, enjoy the views of Mount Meru, and prepare for your upcoming adventure. Your safari guide will brief you on the itinerary, wildlife viewing, and what to expect during your 8 Days Tanzania Safari.

After breakfast, journey towards Lake Eyasi, a beautiful seasonal lake located in Tanzania's Great Rift Valley. The area is known for its distinctive landscapes and cultural heritage. With a locally arranged visit, you can learn about the traditions and daily life of the Hadzabe and Datoga communities through respectful cultural interaction. Depending on local arrangements and timing, activities may include learning about traditional skills, crafts, and local livelihoods. Enjoy the scenery around the lake before dinner and an overnight stay in the Lake Eyasi area.

After breakfast, depart for the legendary Serengeti National Park, travelling towards its northern region. The journey reveals changing scenery, from rugged volcanic terrain to expansive savannah plains. Upon entering the park, begin your game drive in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife. Northern Serengeti is particularly renowned for seasonal Great Migration activity around the Mara River, although sightings and river crossings cannot be guaranteed. Arrive at your camp or lodge, surrounded by the sounds and atmosphere of the African wilderness.

Dedicate the day to exploring the Serengeti's remarkable wildlife habitats. Start early when many animals are active, then follow your professional safari guide through the plains and riverine areas in search of predators and grazing herds. The Serengeti supports lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, elephants, and many other species. Depending on wildlife movements, your guide may focus on areas with promising sightings. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the day's exploration and continue photographing the incredible landscapes. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, continue south towards Central Serengeti, enjoying wildlife viewing along the way. The Seronera region is well known for its extensive plains, rocky kopjes, and river habitats that support a variety of wildlife throughout the year. These habitats offer opportunities to look for lions resting on rocky outcrops, leopards in suitable woodland areas, cheetahs on open plains, and large herbivore herds. Your guide will choose the route according to wildlife activity and road conditions. Arrive at your Central Serengeti accommodation and enjoy dinner beneath the African sky.

After an early breakfast, travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable game drive. This remarkable volcanic caldera provides habitat for zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, hippos, lions, and many other animals. With luck, you may spot the endangered black rhinoceros. Enjoy a picnic lunch in an approved area before ascending from the crater and returning towards Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport, depending on your onward travel arrangements.
